  1. How do I add my Online Advertisement and special Sales in LocalElse?
    • Join LocalElse and become a LocalElse Venue - Sign in and use myTextAds and myVenuesSpace Tools.

  2. Would LocalElse work on my system : System Requirements?
    • We are testing our products on Windows XP, 2000 and MAC OSX; IE 6.0, IE 7.0, Netscape, MAC(Safari) and Mozilla - Please inform us of any issues with these browsers that you may encounter - we are here to help you. <Use Mozilla on MAC systems for best Result>
    • Your Internet Options settings may prevent us from displaying some features, Please take the following steps:

    To change Internet Explorer security settings:

        • In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
        • Click the Security tab.
        • Click the Internet icon.
        • Set the security level to Default(Medium-High) and click OK when you are done.
        • When you are finished making changes, click OK to return to Internet Explorer.

To change Internet Explorer privacy settings:

      • In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
      • Click the Privacy tab.
      • Under Settings, do any of the following:
        1. To allow or block cookies from specific websites, click Sites. and add www.localelse.com
        2. Or Turn off the Pop Ups
      • When you are finished making changes to your privacy settings, click OK.

     

  1. Can I place my Ad in more than one City/Zip code and select multiple Categories for it ?
    • Yes, you can enter your advertisements for multiple catgeories and more than one city and zip code at no extra cost.

  2. I can not Sign up or Sign in ?
    • Your browser must support cookies and JavaScript, and these options must be enabled to sign up.
      • Please make sure your Cookies are enabled -check Browsers Tools+Internet Options +Privacy/security level
      • Please make sure that JavaScript is turned on. To do so, select Options (Firefox) or Internet Options (Internet Explorer) under the Tools menu of your browser. In Firefox, click the Content tab, select "enable JavaScript," and click OK. In Internet Explorer, click the Security tab, select "Enable" under "Active Scripting," and click OK.
  3. How do I search by City or Zip code if the Venue does not have a Physical address (i.e. online Business)?
    • LocalElse Supports Online City and Zip Code- Please Select FriCity for the Online City and 00000 for the Online Zip Code (FriZip)

  4. How do I Change my Account Information, such as Company name, Email, Phone, Address, Weekly Email Alert?
    • To change your profile (name,address, etc.), Sign in and click on myAccount -> myProfile on upper right hand side (Top Red Header.) .Make the change and press update
    • To change your password, Sign in and click on myAccount -> Change Password on upper right hand side (Top Red Header.) .Make the change
    • To Unregister , Sign in and click myAccount -> Un-Register on upper right hand side (Top Red Header.) . Press Yes

  5. LocalElseTM Venues: Venues who sign up with LocalElseTM can utilize myTextAds to place their Advertisements and MyVenueSpace to create Web Site Ad Space, add Coupons and increase visibility on the internet to their local community.

      1. Sign in and Click on Create Ad.
      2. Create your Online Advertisements (listings, Special sales , Special events, services ) and list them on LocalElse
      3. Place your Online Advertisements on your published web site Ad Space (myVenuesSpace)
      4. View the list of Categories (Category Map) that are supported.
      5. Ads History - Ads History keeps all your previous ads and will allow you to just renew and or update your old Ads in seconds!

      Build myVenuesSpace TM Services for Venues are:

      1. Sign in and Click on Build myVenuesSpace
      2. Create a Web Site Ad Space (LocalElseTM MyVenuesSpaceTM) : Edit myVenueSpace, View myVensorSpace.The that you need to fill out are :
        • Make this Webspace public - check to be placed on www for all web users to see.
        • Who we are - add Ttext using a simple Editor.
        • What we do - add Text using a simple Editor. Insert Links, Table and Add Image/Picture(up to 500x500 pixels - jpg,gift,png,bmp format)
        • Keywords - used for Search Engine Optimizations (SEO)
        • Address - Venue's Address
        • Contact information - Venue's Web Address (URL) and Email address
